We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced MICE sales executive to join our team at our 4-star hotel. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing meetings, incentives, conferences, and events, with excellent organizational and sales skills. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to maximise revenue from MICE business segments, including conferences, meetings, incentives, and events.
Deliver above and beyond the sales budget targets month on month by fostering a culture of high performance and creativity.
Work closely with the Director of Sales and Operations team to set departmental budgets, sales targets, and marketing plans; regularly review progress against these.
Lead the planning and delivery of tailored proposals for events, ensuring a seamless client journey from enquiry to execution and post-event follow-up.
Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, event agencies, and corporate partners.
Attend and represent the hotel at industry trade shows, networking events, and exhibitions to boost the hotel's profile and generate leads.
Oversee all aspects of event coordination--site inspections, contract negotiations, event logistics, billing, and client service--ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and repeat business.
Ensure all promotional and commercial materials are current and accurately reflect the hotel's luxury standards.
Managing communication with all stakeholders: clients, suppliers, partners and colleagues.
Providing administrative support, including the upkeep of client databases and sales systems with Sales Management and CRM Tools.
Being present at events, supervising execution to guarantee smooth operation and high satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in MICE sales within the 4 Star or luxury hotels.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects
Proficiency in relevant office software and hotel CRM/sales systems.
Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field is an advantage.
Creative thinker with a commercial mindset, passionate about exceeding guest and client expectations.
Full UK Driving License preferred.
