Benenden Health has an exciting opportunity to join the Member Engagement team. We are seeking a Member Engagement Officer Events & Projects, who will deliver key aspects of Benenden Health's democratic and engagement structure by supporting the development and facilitation of the Society's member events programme, member forum and member workshops.
You will have experience of delivering various types of events, both in-person and virtually. You will need excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage projects effectively. You'll also be confident in communicating with a range of stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating a high level of diplomacy and a good command of both written and verbal communication. You will be working with Society colleagues, external contacts, Benenden Health members and a range of suppliers.
This role offers a great deal of variety. In addition to your key responsibilities, you will often be required to support departmental projects, working cross-functionally where needed. You will need to exercise personal initiative, judgement, forward planning and discretion. Strong attention to detail is crucial, as you will be expected to deliver work to both a high standard and level of accuracy.
The Member Engagement team plays a vital part in ensuring that members' voices are heard throughout Benenden Health. We encourage members to participate and get involved with their Society and we act as advocates for them, always seeking to identify ways to improve engagement between members and colleagues.
The team's mission statement is: "To empower members to connect, share their views and contribute to building a stronger Society, in which their voices are at the heart of our decision-making." If you are passionate about supporting this important work and you think you have the skills we need, we'd love to hear from you!
