Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Membership Sales Coordinator to assist membership recruitment and retention for our fantastic health club.

This role includes additional opportunities to hit target bonuses at membership milestones. This is not included in the salary listed. More information will be provided at interview stage.

Our Elevation Health Club is situated within the hotel complex, it boasts the latest Matrix gym equipment, two studios where we offer numerous classes and our wet areas include a 20m swimming pool, tropical bubble pool, sauna, steam room, ice bucket, heated loungers and foot spas. We have a large membership base.

Old Thorns is a luxury four-star resort in Hampshire. The hotel is easily accessible from the A3, Guildford and Portsmouth. Old Thorns offers luxury accommodation, conference & function facilities, health club, beauty spa, restaurants & bars and a championship golf course.

Main Duties:

Booking potential members for show around of facilities Conducting show arounds Selling different membership packages to potential members Liaising with personal trainers for diarising induction programmes for members Suggesting marketing campaigns to increase membership Recording membership details on Clubwise system Recording membership attrition and reporting statistics to Health Club Manager Suggesting membership retention incentives Liaising with new members to ensure they are getting the best from their membership Collection of membership fees in arrears Participation in membership events and promotional fairs.

Experience:

You will have previous experience in membership sales (Desirable) Keen interest in the sport and leisure industry. (Essential) You will be a motivated, results driven individual. (Essential) You will be confident, presentable and have a pleasant telephone manner. (Essential) You will have good communication skills, a friendly and professional manner and be able to build a rapport with members. (Essential) You will be IT literate with a working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word. (Essential)
