Job Overview

We are looking to recruit Mental Health Health Nurses for our private Hospital in Chelmsford, you will be joining the team in the new CAMHS Ward opening. This is a full time 37.5 hours role.

Situated within three acres of landscaped grounds, This Hospital based in Chelmsford is a private hospital known for its calming, recovery-focused environment. We offer high-quality residential, day care and outpatient services for up to 56 service users.

We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As registered mental health nurse, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

Deliver high quality, service users focussed care Participate in the development of new services and care pathways Support the local implementation of the Group Nursing Strategy Engage in continuous quality improvement within your service

Knowledge / Education / skills

Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with 6-12 months post registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship programme. Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests and professional practices. Evidence of post registration continuing professional development. Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality. Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise Excellent verbal and written communication skills
The post holder will be required to work a regular shift pattern over a 7 day period including weekends and Nights on a rotational basis.
