We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients experiencing mental health challenges. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in anatomy and patient care will be essential in delivering effective interventions and support to our patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' mental health status and needs.
Develop individualised care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
Administer medications and monitor their effects on patients.
Provide emotional support and counselling to patients and their families.
Facilitate therapeutic group activities and interventions.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and care strategies.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all patients.
Experience
A valid registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Proven experience in a mental health setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and its application in patient care.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
