RMN, Mental Health Nursing - Male Mental Health Rehabilitation service.

Salary:

16.50 - 21.50 per hour (DOE).

Hours:

Full time hours available. + Overtime

We are looking to recruit RMN's with experience in Mental Health services who are enthusiastic, proactive and motivated, to enable the continued development of our service.

The Service:

Maple House is a 24 bed community facing hospital for men aged 18 years and above with complex mental health needs due to mental illness and/or Acquired Brain Injury. The service provides a holistic approach to recovery from mental illness whilst maximising potential and promoting independence.

We strive to provide a supportive and therapeutic environment to enable each of the males in our care to achieve meaningful and sustainable recovery and fulfil their individual potential to the maximum extent. We help make positive change in their lives and to gain greater independence, long-term mental well-being and successful reintegration into the community at the earliest opportunity.

About you:

As an experienced RMN you will be required to run shifts effectively with a team of support workers. You will work as part of the MDT and collaboratively with the patients to provide all aspects of care including assessment, treatment and risk management which will contribute to the individuals recovery. As part of our multi-disciplinary team you will assist and support the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients. As part of a multidisciplinary team under the direct supervision of the Hospital Manager, you will need to effectively work as part of the team to enable patients progression.

Newly qualified RMN's will also be considered upon review of resume.

Requirements:



Essential



NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health nurse Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team Commitment to safeguarding and promoting patient welfare

Desirable:



Experience in mental health nursing
