Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health disorders, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and well-being. Your expertise will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health status and needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects and effectiveness. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families. Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in case management meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment adjustments. Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.

Experience

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in mental health nursing or psychiatric care is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating leadership qualities. Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques is beneficial.
