The Croydon Early Intervention in Psychosis Team is seeking a dedicated Band 7 Advanced Practitioner to join our dynamic and supportive service, based at Queens Resource Centre. In this varied and rewarding role, you'll provide clinical leadership, manage and support a small team, and help drive service improvement across key areas such as referral management, care coordination, and patient experience. What you can add:
You will lead and support a team of clinicians, offering supervision, guidance, and role modelling best practice in mental health care.
You will support the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care through leadership in referral management, discharge planning, and crisis intervention.
You will play a key role in service development, quality improvement, and audit activities that enhance outcomes for service users and carers.
You will work collaboratively across the MDT and partner agencies to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
You will champion early intervention principles, promoting recovery, inclusion, and the reduction of health inequalities.
You will take part in teaching, mentoring, and the ongoing development of staff to maintain high clinical standards and team resilience.
What you'll need:
Professional Registration NMC / HCPC (OT or Social Worker) with relevant Diploma, BSc or MSc
Proven experience managing clinical practice in mental health services
Experience providing clinical and managerial supervision
Experience of running/organising depot and/or clozapine clinic
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and discharge planning
Experience supporting patients and families in crisis
Desirable:
Access to a car and full UK drivers licence
Experience in project management and involvement in recruitment processes
