Mental Health
Project Worker
to join our team based in Stonehaven. We are looking for a dedicated individual who wants to make a real difference in our clients' lives. Working as a Mental Health Project Worker, you will take an active role in the development and facilitation of group and 1:1 support activities that will help clients develop the skills and resources they need to better manage their mental health and well-being. This is initially a 12 month contract to be extended subject to funding.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Assist people who use the service to work toward individual goals identified through Personal Support and Action Planning
Assessment and allocation of services that will enable the individuals to better self-manage their mental and physical health
Maintain a personal caseload using organisational processes to meet individual support needs of people using the service.
Plan and facilitate individual and group recovery programmes in line with the organisation's development strategy.
Accurately maintain and update client records using specified computer-based systems, preparing written reports as required.
Maintain appropriate confidentiality and professional boundaries on all matters relating to the work of Pillar Kincardine and those referred to and/or using its services
Work effectively and liaise with other members of the team, families, external agencies, colleagues and other stakeholders.
Participate in training activities and staff meetings as required.
Work in a co-operative manner as a member of the staff team under the direction of the Service Manager
Work within the organisation's policies, procedures and good practice guidelines.
Skills and Experience Required
A good level of relevant educational attainment in at SVQ level 5 or equivalent.
I.T. skills to a good standard in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working in a Mental Health service or in another area of support work in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
A sound knowledge and understanding of the SSSC Codes of Practice and National Care Standards
.
SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent or willingness to work towards.
Ability to work well in a team setting but can also work autonomously.
Full clean driving licence and access to own car is desirable.

A Disclosure Scotland PVG check for regulated work with adults and children is required for this role.
