Mental Health Services For Older People Liaison Nurse
Job Description
To provide liaison service as above to the general hospital, intermediate care setting. To act as a specialist resource on older persons mental health issues to the general hospital, intermediate care. To undertake Specialist Mental Health Nurse role within the broader Mental Health Services for Older People department. To operate within a multidisciplinary framework and contribute meaningfully to the development of the service, and the provision of safe and effective care.
Practice within legal and ethical frameworks encompassed within nursing and mental health legislation to exercise professional accountability as set out in NMC Professional Code of Conduct and work within the scope of practice. Reportable to MHSOP Liaison Nurse Lead.
