Job Description
We are seeking mental health fee earner who has panel membership.
The successful candidate will manage a varied and complex caseload. The position would entail an amount of travelling and would be both office and home-based.
Consultant opportunities also available.
Responsibilities
Mental Health Act 1983 matters Advocacy at the First Tier Tribunal (Mental Health) Detention for assessment and treatment Fulfilment of conflict checking protocols Meeting clients, taking instruction, and preparing cases Representing vulnerable clients Dealing with correspondence Legal Aid Agency funding Billing of Legal Help files Business development and marketing initiatives
The Candidate
A solicitor, legal executive or paralegal with a minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health Membership of the Law Society's Mental Health panel will be essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 29,000.00-45,000.00 per year
