\xc2\xa3350-450 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

This role is for a Mental Health Support Worker to support vulnerable children and young people aged between 4-16 years who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. All pupils have been assessed and are supported with an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).

The aim of the school is to work with pupils experiencing barriers to learning related to SEMH and other needs so that they take pride in learning, communicate effectively and develop pro-social and independent skills with the goal of becoming responsible, regulated and ready for the workplace.

Requirements

The desired Mental Health Support Worker will have;

  • Experience of working with secondary school aged children
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEMH
  • A passion for education and helping people
  • A nurturing and engaging personality
