About the service:
New Pastures is a two-bedroom property, operating as a supported living service for individuals with Mental Illness. Some of the people living at New Pastures may also express behaviours which others might find challenging.
New Pastures provides a caring, supporting and nurturing environment where individuals are supported to develop independence and achieve personal outcomes. Supporting individuals to meet their full potential is key objective within the service we provide.
Within your role:
Support individuals with to live a fulfilled and meaningful life through the delivery of structured daily activities and supporting them into the local community.
A focus is placed upon developing levels of independence through engagement in Daily Living Skills such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping.
You will encourage individuals to maintain healthy standards of personal care, promoting the engagement in washing and bathing.
To provide emotional/wellbeing and mental health support.
