About Reunite Families UK
Reunite Families UK (RFUK) is a lived experience led nonprofit organisation that supports and advocates for couples and families affected by the UK spouse migration policy. RFUK originated from the lived experiences of two mums navigating the UK's complex spouse visa rules. A core part of RFUK's mission is to highlight the realities facing families bound by the spouse visa rules and promote a positive narrative around migrants in the UK.
RFUK began as a Facebook group in 2017 to support others in similar situations. We provide a safe, non-judgemental space that enables members to connect, share information, and provide mutual support through a shared experience and access help and advice on navigating the complex Home Office requirements. We also work closely with migration and legal organisations who offer expert advice and guidance and signpost individuals to non-migration organisations that address related social issues.
As part of our delivery to our community, we are now hiring a part time mental health support worker to provide wellbeing support/referral advice to members of the community and help us formulate wellbeing online resources for those affected by the UK spouse migration policy.
