We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This role involves working closely with clients to enhance their daily living skills, promote independence, and ensure their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with daily living activities. Implement individualised care plans tailored to the specific needs of each client. Support children and adults with autism and other disabilities in various settings. Utilise applied behaviour analysis techniques to encourage positive behaviours and skill development. Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with other team members. Foster a safe and supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and learning.

Qualifications

Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is essential. Knowledge of applied behaviour analysis principles is highly desirable. Previous experience in special education or supporting individuals with autism is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Understanding of medication administration protocols and patient care practices. A compassionate approach to care, demonstrating patience and empathy at all times. Relevant qualifications in health, social care, or a related field are preferred but not mandatory.
