Justteachers are seeking a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to to join a specialist provision in the Grantham area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEMH needs.

Key responsibilities:
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being within a secure, structured learning environment.
Providing one-to-one and small group support to help young people develop self-regulation and resilience.
Collaborating with teaching staff and support teams to implement tailored behaviour management strategies.
Offering specialised support to students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH challenges.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Relevant experience working within an educational or care setting, ideally in a secure environment.
A strong understanding of SEND/SEMH, with proven strategies for supporting young people with diverse needs.
Two education or school-based references.
A clear Enhanced DBS check, or willingness to apply for one.
