Job Description

We're Norfolk and Waveney Mind, your local Mind mental health charity offering an extensive range of mental health services, along with associated training, advice and information.

We offer a wide range of services including 1:1 talking therapies, gardening projects, access to employment services, mental health training and education for businesses, schools and individuals, residential care and support programmes.

We also work in our communities to raise awareness and challenge stigma and discrimination. Our services support young people aged 14-25, adults and carers affected by mental ill health.

PCN Team Leader (Mental Health Team Leader for our PCN Service)



?Hours:

Full Time 37.5 hours per week

Work Pattern

: Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Starting Salary:

26,292 per annum, rising to 27,835 per annum after 6 month probation

Location:

This role covers the West of Norfolk (hybrid working and out in the community)

*Due to the nature of the role a driver license and access to a vehicle is essential for this role, mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted.

We are recruiting a PCN Team Leader to over see our PCN Staff in West Norfolk
??As a Team Leader you will oversee and play a pivotal role in driving the delivery of innovative, holistic healthcare solutions alongside the Primary Care Network (PCN), Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT), and a diverse team of professionals. Your leadership will help shape the future of mental health services by reducing the number of people with mental health issues re-presenting to their GP.

Key Responsibilities:



?Lead and Manage:

Oversee the PCN team in West Norfolk ensuring they are trained, motivated, and adhere to best practices while encouraging innovation and consistency to meet contract requirements and service specifications.

Service Development & Management:

Support the Service Manager with the ongoing management, development, and implementation of the service, ensuring smooth operations and service improvement.

?

Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration

: Work alongside the surgeries and other partner organisations to establish clear and efficient referral pathways for those needing support.

?

Stakeholder Relationship Building

: Foster strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration across mental health services, support services, and community organisations.

?

Promote Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE):

Ensure that your team implements PIE principles, delivering a supportive environment to all service users.

What we are looking for?


?

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader, ideally with a background in mental health or community services. However, we also welcome applications from individuals who may not have held a formal leadership role but are ready to step into a Team Leader position, with the right values, passion, and a strong track record of working in multidisciplinary or recovery-focused environments.
