Title: MEP Regional Finance Manager - UK

Location: Bonn, Germany or UK remote

Overview:

The MEP Regional Finance Manager will be the key finance go to person within the UK region for Trimble MEP. The person will work very closely with other finance functions, the business and the MEP Finance Leadership to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and be viewed as a trusted business partner. The Regional Finance Manager is responsible for various financial tasks within the region. Depending on location, frequent travel to the UK office is required. Key responsibilities are as follows:

Responsibilities and Duties:

Weekly reporting of multiple business metrics

Supporting the month end close (e.g. deferred revenue, reclasses)

Oversight of actual monthly results and insightful variance analysis

Ownership of full P&L Forecasting within the region / business area with a 3/4/3 lens (3 month/4 quarters/3 years)

Monthly sales commission calculation & analysis

SSP Analysis

Initiate, monitor and track cost savings and improvements

Partner with local business leaders (sales leaders, key management personnel) in interpreting results, improving financial performance, and driving Finance objectives

Providing input and contribution of the relevant region for global management reviews (QBR)

Supporting the region in transitioning to subscription business models and a unified go to market execution

Assisting Key-Account-Deals from a financial perspective

Involvement in the roll-out of a new CRM-System (inclusive of user acceptance testing prior go-live)

Foster strong relationships with Business and Corporate finance groups

Ensuring policies are in place and followed

Supporting the Finance Leadership in various requests

Requirements:

Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA

Strong Finance acumen and knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheet

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a combined Finance and Accounting role

Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timelines

Proven experience in interpreting financial results to the business along with guiding the business on execution of the financial plan and adjusting or pivoting if and when necessary

Able to pick up new technical concepts quickly and be adaptable

Experience with G-Suite, Salesforce, Oracle and Domo preferred

Strong Excel skills and ability to develop, create or maintain large complex models

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
