As our Merchandiser, you will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, great attention to detail, committed to providing excellent Customer Service and adept at working to deadlines.
Role and Responsibilities for the position of Merchandiser:
End-to-end Management of Customer-led Project Lifecycle
Creating and managing Critical Paths.
Creating project briefs for internal review and once signed off, briefing to China team.
Reviewing supplier quotes.
Liaising with suppliers on production schedules and customer queries.
Creating and presenting Costing Models to Commercial Team for sign off.
Creating SKUs, PA Forms & Specs for Products.
Reviewing and signing off artwork and samples (red, green & gold seals) to ensure they meet the brief and customer requirements.
Ensuring paperwork required by Customer is prepared, accurate and provided on time.
Creating and issuing Pro Forma Invoices to Customer and liaising with Accounts regarding payments
Regular communication with Customer and Sales Team of project progress and managing Customer expectations.
Coordinating with multiple departments to ensure Critical Path deadlines are met including NPD, Design, Marketing, Tech, Sales, Demand Planning, Commercial, Fulfilment & Accounts.
Weekly reporting of project and order progress.
Accountable for set up and maintenance of customer data on internal systems.
Completing Customer New Line Forms including gathering relevant information from relevant departments within Customer deadlines.
Ensuring paperwork required by Customer is prepared, accurate and provided on time
Regularly reviewing customer data on internal system to ensure all information is accurate and up to date
General Customer Account Support
Work closely with relevant departments to help provide solutions to Customer and Sales Team to ensure Customer expectations and Sales Targets can be met.
Coordinating all customer requests for Marketing, Design, Legal & Technical documents.
Reviewing and signing off marketing decks to ensure they meet the brief and customer requirements
Skills and Experience for the role of Merchandiser
Ideally you will have experience of the Beauty or Personal Care Industry, but essentially you will be working in FMCG
You will have experience working on projects on behalf of Key Account Customers such as Christmas gifting campaigns etc from initial briefing from the customer , sampling, packaging design, approvals , sign off, overseeing production schedules etc
You will have extensive experience of managing multiple Critical Paths
You will have exceptional coordination and communication skills to work closely across all departments, to ensure projects are delivered on time as well as first class problem solving skills to anticipate potential and resolve issues
