We are looking for a proactive individual with experience in a merchandising / customer facing supply chain role. The role is to manage the customer order from order receipt, production to delivery and invoice. The role requires a confident and detail conscious communicator who is driven by delivering an exceptional service to their customers and internal stakeholders.

Merchandiser - The Role



Responsible for the operational management of customer account(s) Point of contact for Sales and Customers on all operational issues Maintaining current customer manuals, testing protocols - sharing with concerned departments Maintaining current customer packaging requirements - sharing with concerned departments Maintaining current customer Ways of Working document per account Collection, checking of documents needed for order raising Liaising with in-country merchandisers with regards to Critical Path order follow up and providing updated Critical Paths to customer Managing approvals with customer - lab dips/strike offs/samples Liaising with logistics department to ensure goods are delivered on time Analyse reports, identify production issues and potential delays - assisting in problem solving, communication with customers with the support from Sales where needed Supporting Sales with admin tasks related to customer presentations, reports, interdepartmental handovers, etc Investigating and planning of corrective action plans for customer chargebacks/fines & follow through with concerned departments Maintaining strong customer relationship

Key Skills and Attributes



Previous experience in apparel, accessories merchandising, ideally working with sourcing countries Previous experience in garment: physical and chemical testing Familiar with Microsoft Office packages and Outlook Highly organised Ability to work under pressure & cope with tight deadlines Pay close attention to detail Taking a proactive approach, with a positive, solution driven, 'can do' attitude Previous experience in licensing is an advantage You will be hard working, confident in working independently and within a team
