The Role.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and driven individual to join our Merchandising Team. In this key position, you will be focused on maximising the commercial opportunities through the effective management of inventory and driving sales through improved availability and forecasting.
Responsibilities.
To achieve this, you will:
Manage the critical path for your suppliers to ensure timely new product launches.
Apply various techniques to accurately forecast sales and optimise stock planning.
Oversee a portfolio of suppliers and coordinate orders in alignment with stock and availability objectives.
Review best-selling products weekly to maximise stock availability.
Analyse and interpret sales data to provide clear, actionable recommendations that support key commercial decisions.
Maintain and update product data within the company's ERP application (OrderWise).
Foster effective working relationships between merchandising and other key departments across the business.
Continuously evaluate current processes to identify opportunities for improvement and enhanced ways of working.
Generate and present KPI reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
The right candidate must:
Possess three years of experience within a fast-paced merchandising department.
Be able to communicate effectively and build relationships quickly.
Be highly organized with strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
Can work well under pressure, think strategically, analyze data, and make decisions in a dynamic environment.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables).
