Based at our contemporary head office and distribution centre on the outskirts of Preston, James Hall & Co. Ltd. have been established for over 150 years proudly serving communities across the north of England as supplier and distributor to over 450 SPAR stores.

About the Role

Our team ensures that all shop equipment is expertly managed, ensuring our customers find exactly what they need.



What will I be doing?

This role is physically demanding but rewarding. If you enjoy hands-on work and are eager to learn, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Creating and maintaining visually appealing and organised product displays that attract customers and drive sales. Work closely with store managers, sales teams and independent retailers to implement merchandising strategies. Assist in planning and executing promotional events and in-store campaigns. Work closely with shopfitters and the Store Design team to implement store layouts.

A Few Things About You

We value attitude and drive over experience and will provide full training to successful candidates. However, you should:

Be flexible with working patterns. Hold a full UK driving license. Have excellent attention to detail. Be able to work unsupervised and take initiative. Possess excellent communication skills. Be able to handle sensitive information confidentially.
