Job Description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Mess Clark to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Maintaining and building a relationship with relevant committee members. Create new mess members and ensure mess memberships/bills are up to date. Keeping mess member records up to date Creating mess bills and I&Es Recording of PAYD and Chits Processing of supplier invoices Support debt management Daily cash checks Recording of income Creation of sales orders Posting of journals during month end to ensure SAP is closed correctly reflecting mess bills. Producing the monthly mess bills Pulling together the I&E Debt reporting

Our ideal Mess Clark will:

Looking to progress a career in Finance with relevant qualifications [e.g. AAT] Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Have an inquisitive and intriguing outlook with confidence to approach the business Excellent attention to detail Strong analytical and system skills Excellent Microsoft Excel skills SAP experience (desirable)
