Overview

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment. Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform tasks efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Assist in the installation of new equipment as required.

Experience

Proven knowledge with hands-on experience in a similar role. Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools, demonstrating competence in their safe usage. Previous experience in maintenance or repair work is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
