Overview

We are seeking a skilled MET Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with both power and hand tools.

As an MET Technician, you'll be responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and trim work on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they're restored to manufacturer standards with precision and care.

Duties

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to perform tasks safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Assist in the installation of new equipment as required. Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organised.

Requirements

ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) preferred Proven mechanical knowledge, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems. Experience using power tools and hand tools in a professional setting is essential. Ability to read technical drawings and manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A proactive approach to safety, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. Full UK driving licence

Monday - Thursday 8:00 - 16:30

Friday 08:00 - 15:30

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
