The Spectrum VR Group

is looking for an experienced

MET Technician

specialising in

HGV and LCV repairs

to join our growing team. We operate a modern, well-equipped workshop and take pride in delivering high-quality, manufacturer-approved vehicle repairs.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the safe and accurate removal and refitting of mechanical, electrical, and trim components on both HGVs and LCVs. Working closely with the bodyshop team, you'll ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently and returned to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components Strip and rebuild vehicles in line with job cards and repair methods Diagnose and report additional damage or faults Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and manufacturer standards Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as an MET Technician (HGV/LCV experience preferred) Strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes Ability to read and follow job cards and technical instructions Own tools suitable for commercial vehicle repair A detail-focused approach and commitment to quality workmanship
