We are seeking an experienced fabricator with press brake and laser cutting experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fabrication processes including experience with tube laser cutting and press brake operation. This role involves working with various materials especially aluminium sheets, steel tube cutting and fabrication, to create high-quality components that meet precise specifications. The successful applicant understanding of basic mathematics for measurements and calculations and ability to read engineering drawings. Attention to detail is critical.
Responsibilities
Fabrication of assembly metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform tube laser cutting, load/unload material.
Conduct inspections of finished products to drawings and ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
Troubleshoot issues with equipment or materials as they arise.
Qualifications
Proven experience in laser cutting and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
Familiarity with aluminium fabrication techniques is desirable.
Basic mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
