Overview

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication, with proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to work with a range of materials. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform Mig/stick welding and other welding techniques as required Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Conduct quality checks to ensure all fabricated items meet required standards Maintain a clean and safe working environment Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Experience

Proven experience in metal fabrication, particularly with TIG welding Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to fabrication processes Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
