Job Overview:
We are looking for someone with the right attitude who is a team player. We are happy to train the right candidate, so no experience is necessary.

Working hours: 4 days a week, 08.00 - 17.00 (with an hour's unpaid break) and Saturdays, 08.00 - 14.00 (with a half-hour unpaid break; a total of 37.5 hours a week. We can consider part-time 21.5 hours - 2 full days a week plus a working Saturday. A driving licence is required for this position.

Due to our insurance, you need to be over the age of 21.

The role will be to meet and greet customers, help them sort out their material and process this on our IT system. Once the customer has been dealt with, we need to process the material. It involves some lifting and is very physical, hands-on work. You will also be required to drive our forklifts, and if you are licensed, you will be required to drive LWB vehicles.

This position is ideal for someone who is looking to progress in this field and would like longevity.

Duties:
Ensure the company Values are always upheld.

Always adhere to the Easy Recycling Solution (ERS) company policies and procedures/health and safety manual.

Ensure that you use PPE permanently.

Support the unit and area manager.

Ensure the security of the units is maintained.

Assist your team with customers as and when required.

Ensure you check and purchase the material correctly following your training and the procedures.

Provide adequate customer service to all customers at all times. Be polite, helpful and informative.

To keep a well-organised and safe environment, we must deal with all materials promptly.

Process the customer forms correctly and follow the ERS procedures/training given regarding customer forms.

Ensure that the working areas and facilities are always kept clean and tidy.

Complete the machinery check sheets daily and report any issues to the area manager.

Ensure you work safely following our health and safety manual and staff handbook.
