MEWP Operator - South Wales
Reporting to: Field Manager
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday, 45 hours a week between 7am-7pm. Saturdays requiredon arota pattern, paid as overtime.
Salary: 30,100-32,000 (DOE)

Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Field Manager, the MEWP Operator will be assisting with the overhead installations and service visits using Openreach PIA and Netomnia specific network. The MEWP Operator has a key role in installing right first time whilst maintaining an outstanding customer service for our customers, updating relevant systems in a timely manner throughout the day. This role would suit somebody looking for a route into telecoms.
Key Responsibilities
Assist installation and service engineers when they require MEWP assistance.
Manage the tools issued and the vehicle assigned to you as per our vehicle policy.
Complete assigned activities on time and manage day-to-day jobs.
Running cables from the Netomnia CBT to the customer property to a high-quality standard whilst following H&S best practice.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Experience working in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
Ability to conduct risk assessment and hazard identification, with a strong emphasis on Health and Safety practices.
Excellent organisational skills.
Clear and concise communication abilities.
Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
Ability to foster excellent working relationships within your team, with your manager, and with other teams within the company, with an excellent customer service attitude.
A proactive approach to improving efficiencies and working smarter.
Requirements
Must hold a full UK driving Licence for minimum 12 months.
SA001A and S8 (or equivalent)
IPAF 1b
NRSWA Unit 1
