An opportunity has arisen for a clinical risk lead post within the Mental Health & Learning Disability Division under which the post holder will be responsible for providing support and guidance to clinicians and managers in all aspects of clinical risk management; and ensure that the Divisional commitment to managing risk in a co-ordinated, systematic, transparent and focused ways is achieved. A key element will be to ensure WARRN risk assessment training is provided and evaluated and reports produced for Divisional Directors.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
To be responsible for the development, management and continuous review of the Divisional Clinical Risk Management Strategy and Policy.
To develop systems to communicate the clinical risk agenda.
Encourage collaborative working to improve services.
To develop, implement and manage robust action plans.
To produce high quality and accurate reports on clinical risk issues to the Division's Senior Management Team.
Provide expert analysis of performance and service redesign.
