As a member of the Quality Assurance Team the role will involve:
Collecting, analysing, and reporting on microbiological samples.
Demonstrating commitment to the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance through personal actions.
Preparing media and conducting microbiological analyses in accordance with established methods, recording and documenting results on laboratory sheets and computer spreadsheets.
Managing product releases using company inventory systems, performing quality control checks, and carrying out equipment calibration.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe microbiology laboratory.
Interpreting results accurately and escalating issues where appropriate.
Qualities and experience required include:
Ideally, 12 months' laboratory experience (desirable but not essential).
Ability to reflect on performance and actively drive personal development.
Openness to new ideas and approaches, with the ability to lead by example.
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Accountable and responsible for personal actions.
Self-disciplined with effective communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable, with a positive approach to change.
Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
Completion of an English and Maths test will form part of the interview process
Working hours:
4 on 4 off 7am - 7pm

Pay: Up to 29,000.00 per year
