About the role




We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MicroStrategy/ Business Intelligence engineer and report developer to join our data and analytics team. This role will play a key part in designing, developing, and optimizing business intelligence solutions that empower stakeholders with actionable insights. The ideal candidate has a strong background in MicroStrategy (3-5+ years), a passion for analytics, and a collaborative mindset.


Key Responsibilities:




Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and documents based on business requirements. Architect scalable MicroStrategy solutions with a focus on performance, usability, and data integrity. Translate complex data requirements into efficient and user-friendly analytical solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineers to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Optimize data models, cubes, and performance-tuning of reports and dashboards. Maintain documentation for all developed solutions and processes. Support ad hoc reporting needs and troubleshooting of MicroStrategy environments. Advocate and enforce best practices in MicroStrategy development and data visualization.

What we're looking for:




3-5+ years of hands-on experience in MicroStrategy development and architecture. 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in related data warehousing/ data engineering. Experience in Retail or Wholesale industries would be beneficial. Strong understanding of MicroStrategy schema objects, application objects, and project design. Proficiency in report and dashboard development, including visualizations and advanced metrics. Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses, especially Snowflake, is a plus. Familiarity with dbt (Data Build Tool) or other modern data transformation tools is a plus. Understanding of dimensional data modeling and SQL. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
