We are seeking a dedicated Midday Assistant to join our team and help ensure our children have a positive lunchtime experience.
As a Midday Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring the safety, welfare, and good conduct of pupils during lunchtime, in accordance with the school's policies and procedures. You will ensure children are nurtured and engaged in positive activities during their lunch break to promote their wellbeing.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a school, a good understanding of health and safety procedures and great communication and organisational skills. First Aid knowledge would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
Ensure a positive dining experience for all students
Encourage social interaction whilst promoting and engaging with games and play
Promote good manners and high standards of behaviour
Ensure a safe and clean environment for children
Work as part of a dedicated team
Be willing to undertake training
