Midday Assistant

Hours of Post: 5 per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 12noon to 1pm

Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time only

Salary Grade: Scale 1, points 2 to 3 - 24,413 to 24,796 FTE

(salary will be pro rata to part time, term time hours)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Oak Tree Primary School is seeking to appoint a Midday Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team responsible for the care and welfare of children at lunchtime. During the lunchtime period our Midday Assistants support children in the dining room and outside areas to develop socially.


Previous experience is not essential but candidates should have the ability to form a caring and professional relationship with children of primary school age. You need to be able to work closely and flexibly within a team.
