We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Midday Meals Supervisor to work 7.5 hours per week, 1.5-hour daily Monday to Friday. This is a term time only post. Hours to be 12pm - 1.30pm, starting on Tuesday 4th November or earlier if available. We reserve the right to close the application process early and conduct interviews prior to the stated deadline if a suitable candidate is identified. This is a temporary role until 31st August 2026 with a definite view to extending beyond this date.
Salary: WSCC Grade 2 12.65 - 12.85 per hour
The successful applicant will enjoy working with children, supporting and caring for them and ensuring that their school lunch experience is a positive, safe and happy one. You will be responsible for the setting up of the hall for lunches and clearing away as the children are finishing; ensuring that during the lunch periods pupils are in a clean and safe environment. Midday Meals supervisors are expected to supervise and interact with the children during the meals, ensuring pupil behaviour whilst eating and that pupils are ready to return to class on time.
