We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to commence work on the 1st December 2025.
Maindee Primary is located close to the city centre of Newport. Our catchment area serves the immediate location in and around Maindee, making it one of the largest multi-cultural primary schools in Newport. We are a school with over 540 pupils on roll, and this is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are patient, understanding and possess a caring attitude and are looking to gain experience in a school environment.
The position is offered as follows:
Fixed Term until 31st August 2026
10 hours per week (term time only). The normal working hours will be 11.30 to 1.30pm.
A First Aid qualification would be an advantage, but are not essential as guidance, support and the relevant training will be provided.
These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and are subject to a successful Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.
