Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated midday supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a good team player, ideally have experience working with children and be willing to partake in extra training and qualifications as the job may require. This role involves direct work with children in an early years setting and strict compliance with the company's policies around promoting the safeguarding and well-being of our service users is paramount.

Responsibilities

Supervise meal times within the nursery, across ages ranging from baby room (12 weeks) to pre-school (4 year-olds). support the staff teams to provide adequate supervision whilst enhancing the meal time as a family/ learning time. Model and promote good manners and appropriate interactions at meal times. Provide reports to parents on the child's meal via our online system Be fully aware of allergies, intolerances and food preferences of different children and be able to identify the appropriate meal for those children following the nursery's policies and procedures. To assist during sleep time where needed, ensuring sleep monitoring protocols are followed. To support with general housekeeping where needed, including cleaning of eating areas, communal areas and supporting with bedding and laundry where needed.

Skills

Experience of working in a childcare setting is desirable but not essential as training/ supervision will be given Knowledge of Early Years guidance around nutrition and eating at a nursery. Ability to be flexible to each team within the nursery and worked flexibly and adapt to each routine!

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
