Cawood CE School is a
Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School serving the villages of Cawood and Ryther. We believe that a strong partnership between school, home, parish and community is essential to our children's education and development.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join a very committed and friendly team who will take a full and active part in caring for the children and supporting sports and play at lunchtimes. The successful candidate will work each day (Monday - Friday) from 12pm - 1pm. We would like the successful applicant to start immediately or as soon as possible. As part of an induction to the school we will offer support and training, including safeguarding training.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to pursue a career in teaching and/or working with young children.

Have relevant experience of working with children.
Have a good understanding of play and the benefits of playing together for children.

Are well organised, responsible and efficient, aware of the need to maintain confidentiality
