Client: The client is one of the leading business travel management companies in the UK, helping corporate and government clients organize travels for their teams.

Position overview: We are looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer to join our team to manage multiple environments, control and support the infrastructure, and collaborate with engineers on the client's side. You will be responsible for assisting with deployments and maintenance by using a large stack of technologies. For this role we will require the candidate to satisfy UK Government Security Vetting to SC level as the position requires accesses to sensitive information of the client's customers which are both private and governmental companies. The candidate must be prepared to undertake this process, examples of checks undertaken include but aren't limited to: Criminal record / Credit history / Employment history / Time spend abroad.


Responsibilities: Support and enhance AWS cloud infrastructure Monitor and maintain infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance Work with live production infrastructure used by real users; adjust based on feedback and propose and implement improvements Manage infrastructure for native mobile applications Execute releases using TeamCity in accordance with the established release process Collaborate with development teams to streamline and automate development, deployment, and release pipelines Participate in incident response, site reliability engineering (SRE) monitoring, and on-call activities Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to systems, applications, networks, and infrastructure Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures


2+ years of experience in server administration (Linux-based systems) Proficient in scripting with Bash or Python Strong understanding of Git and version control workflows Solid grasp of TCP/IP networking principles Experience configuring and managing cloud services in Amazon AWS (including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ALB, Route 53, ECS, SQS, DynamoDB) Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, GitLab, or GitHub Experience administering PostgreSQL or similar database systems Strong problem-solving skills across infrastructure components (server, network, database, services, etc.) Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Terragrunt) Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog Reliable and proactive team player


Nice to have: Basic understanding of .NET microservices architecture Broad knowledge of IT and software development principles Strong communication and collaboration skills Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment * Experience in the travel industry is a plus
