The opportunity




As Middle Office Analyst, you'll support the Middle Office Manager in operationally overseeing the Omnis fund range and operational relationships with its investment management delegates. You'll act as the operational conduit to our Investment Managers for queries and issue resolution and ensure delegated operational activities are delivered to time, quality and with minimal risk to the Omnis business. Working as part of a small team, this role is key to the delivery of comprehensive processes and procedures, supporting the operational models for both Omnis.

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in our London office.

Key Accountabilities:
Operational oversight of Omnis' investment management operations in line with service level agreement expectations. Create and develop responses to several investment management oversight and reporting requirements identifying trends and anticipating issues. Carry out weekly liquidity monitoring for the funds. Responsible for updating quarterly liquidity limits and presenting to internal committees. Conduct weekly counterparty exposure analysis on derivatives within the funds. Review data and reach out to Investment Manager's for additional information. SME for monthly fund performance monitoring for the Investment Team. Leading data generation for portfolio factsheets, liasing with data providers to supply the correct information for the portfolio factsheets. Conduct daily post trade (Investment & Borrowing Power) reviews. Review queries and trends, liaising with the Omnis Investment Team and Omnis Compliance on resolution, as required. Ensure there is a clear audit trail for anomalies and resolving actions. Accountable for maintaining and updating Investment Manager operational KPI's. Support the investment management on-going due diligence review programme. Support the Omnis wider Team with the reporting, providing data and streamlining the report process. Support Omnis Middle Office Manager with management programmes. Activities could include: Fund mergers and closures, systems and process changes, platform migrations, derivative reporting projects, discretionary product launches and supporting regulatory change. Manage the production of MI and reporting using third party systems such as Financial Express, Style Analytics and StatPro, to support the CEO, Omnis Investment and Marketing teams





What will you need to succeed?



Middle Office or operational experience. Able to lead and maintain effective working relationships Experience of managing critical service management agreements and contracts. CISI Investment Operations Certificate, or equivalent, preferred. Has started, or willing to work towards IMC. Some understanding of each stage of the investment operations process (e.g. tradeflow, settlements, custody, dealing etc.). Appreciation of different asset types. Third Party service provider/oversight management skills. A good understanding of investment platforms and UK distribution structures. Must be able to handle and prioritise multiple activities. Confident presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Report writing is a key part of the role.
