Job purpose:



We are looking for a

Midweight Interior Designer to work within our

Interior Design team of 4. You will deliver your own projects, as well as providing support for the execution and completion of design projects in all Bruntwood buildings, across various regions.



You'll be based at our Union office in the centre of Manchester. With the majority of your work focussed on the Manchester area, with opportunity to support projects in Birmingham and Liverpool as well.


What will you be doing:



Reporting directly to the Head of Design, you'll work closely with the wider Design and Commercial teams Delivering the highest quality product and service for both Bruntwood and our customers. Provide services such as commercial viewing support, workplace consultancy, test fit plans and CAT A / CAT A+ / CAT B fit-outs. Supporting Bruntwood in the continued improvement of our buildings by providing design schemes for our receptions, WCs, common parts and amenity spaces. Working alongside, mentoring and supporting other team members throughout the entire design process. Attend site to take check measures and photos as relevant, and understand the locality of the space you are working with. Be confident to collaborate with in-house teams as well as external consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities and others to achieve project objectives.

What we're looking for:





Experience working within the workplace sector with the ability to design and deliver projects on time and within agreed budgets Ability to meet directly with our customers and undertake tasks such as brief taking and design workshops without supervision Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of UK Building & Planning regulations Proficiency in the use of AutoCad, Sketch-Up, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign Ability to implement projects in line with company brand and design principles Adept multi-tasker who who can manage multiple projects at once, with minimal supervision Accomplished designer with proven experience producing 2D and 3D design information, as well as drawing packages suitable for construction
