Job Description

We're looking for a

Mid-Level Ruby on Rails Developer

who's passionate about building elegant, reliable, and scalable web applications. You'll join a small, product-focused team and work closely with our frontend engineer and product leads to deliver new features, internal tools, and core platform improvements.

What You'll Do:

Develop and maintain

Eleanor's backend systems

using Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL. Build and improve

internal tools

to automate workflows and enhance team productivity. Collaborate with the

frontend team (React / React Native)

to design clear, efficient APIs. Develop and implement

new product features

Write

clean, testable code

and contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines. Assist in

optimizing performance

and

ensuring data integrity

across multi-tenant environments. Participate in

architecture discussions

and help shape the technical roadmap.

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of professional experience with

Ruby on Rails

. Strong understanding of

RESTful APIs

,

ActiveRecord

, and

PostgreSQL

. Experience with

RSpec

or similar testing frameworks. Familiarity with

Sidekiq, Redis, and background job processing

. Comfortable with

Git

,

CI/CD

, and collaborative workflows. Good communication skills and ability to work closely with frontend engineers and product teams. Bonus: experience with

multi-tenant SaaS apps

,

AWS (SQS, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS)

, or

performance profiling

.

Location:
