We're excited to welcome a Mid-Weight Designer to our current Design Team.

The Role:

We're looking for a Mid-Weight Designer with a sharp eye for design, a strong understanding of UX/UI principles and a passion for bringing ideas to life to join our dynamic in-house team and play a key role in delivering standout visuals across our brand. In this role, you'll work across Marketing, Publishing, and Development & Partnerships, collaborating with a talented team including our Senior Designer, Junior Graphic Designer, and external partners.

You will bring ideas, energy, and solid design skills to any task, from concept development through to implementation. You'll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders and external suppliers to help shape how our customers see our brand by producing effective and engaging design across a broad range of projects, including print communication, advertising, design for web, social media assets, product cover design (including books and CDs), book setting, and product-related digital assets, animations, and supporting concept development for video and photo shoots. You'll also collaborate closely with the digital team on UX and UI design, contributing to wireframing and prototyping, while staying up to date with trends in design, UX, and digital storytelling to ensure our output remains current and impactful. You will help mentor and support a Junior Graphic Designer and will be confident in your design choices, able to clearly communicate your thinking to team members.

You will have three to five years of graphic design experience with proven UX/UI exposure, and a strong portfolio showcasing creativity, versatility, and attention to detail. You will be an excellent communicator, an experienced illustrator, and have proven experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop. You will have a solid grasp of layout, typography, and digital design principles, and experience delivering content across digital, social, and print platform. You will have experience with Axure, Figma or equivalent. Sketch and After Effects skills are a bonus but not essential.

Skills and experience

Three to five years of relevant experience in graphic design, with demonstrable UX/UI exposure.

Proven experience of overseeing all design elements, from the conception to final delivery, on time and within budget.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma and Axure or similar tools.

A strong understanding of typography, layout and digital design principles.

Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print.

Experience working collaboratively across departments and with external creatives

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives.
