Established in 2002, Redd is dedicated to creating stunning displays, shop-in-shop furniture, exhibition spaces and display

accessories for a wide range of international brands and retailers.

production facilities in China and Mexico.

POS ARTWORKER / GRAPHIC DESIGNER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly competent PC/Mac based POS Artworker/Graphic Designer to

organically grow in our friendly, fast paced studio at our unique premises in Leicestershire.

Alongside busy UK and Far East production schedules, the role requires the ability to interpret briefs and development

drawings to create technically precise production artwork, assembly guides and packaging labels for POS displays,

shop-in-shop furniture and instore graphics.

A keen eye for detail and a good understanding of the design process is therefore essential in order to create precise

production artwork for digital platforms and all print & manufacturing processes.

Working directly with clients through the approval process and alongside senior designers, the role requires adhering to

strict brand guidelines, supported by a strong creative background for when original creative design input is required.

Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills are important in our busy studio and the ability to focus on several

projects simultaneously under pressure is crucial.

Ability to manage graphics projects at all stages, assist with quotations & raising orders as well as generating new directions

for internal marketing material will also be occasionally required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Educated to degree level or equivalent with some experience in industry is preferred. Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign & Microsoft Office is essential. Good knowledge of video editing in Adobe Premiere and After Effects will be a strong advantage. Experience in design and management of websites & social media platforms are also a huge advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:

- The emphasis of this role is in artworking to a technically precise level (90% artworking / 10% creative graphic design)

- Analysing and prioritising briefs / projects quickly to provide an efficient service for both clients and production teams.

- Understanding technical drawings and creating high quality and detailed artwork for all display and graphics projects.

- Working through UK & Overseas production schedules, prioritising to supply all artwork, graphics, box markings & assembly guides.

- Understanding and creating artwork for various print processes (digital / litho / screen print, cad-cut & vinyl cut graphics etc).

- Understanding and creating artwork for all manufacturing processes (laser cutting, CNC'ing, tolerances etc).

- Handling existing brand artwork and following guidelines for graphic campaigns.

- Liaising directly with clients and suppliers in a skilled, concise and professional manner (UK and Overseas).

- Supporting senior team members and helping to ensure that all deadlines are met.

- Taking control of new projects by managing client expectations, providing quotes and leadtimes.

- Creating new job files, managing and documenting project files both for invoicing and server.

- Taking photo's and documenting all artwork and graphic elements of projects for future production runs.

- Managing several projects simultaneously with attention to detail on a daily basis.

- Creating company promotional material for all platforms (print and digital).

- Providing content support for social media and managing company website (Squarespace).

- Assisting with collating supplier costs to create client quotes.

- Providing support to sales teams creating company presentations and editing photo's for client reference.

- Providing creative support for all other studio requirements and to work unsupervised using own initiative.

- Following company guidelines and being pro-active in bringing fresh new ideas to the table.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
