Weld metal components together using a MIG (GMAW) welding process to meet tight tolerances and high quality standards
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to understand welding requirements
Operate a variety of welding equipment, including MIG welders, cutters, and grinders
Inspect welds for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary
Meet production targets and deadlines while maintaining a safe working environment
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues to management
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Mig Welder in a manufacturing or engineering environment
NVQ or City & Guilds level 2 or 3 in Welding and Fabrication (or equivalent)
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
Valid Health and Safety certification (e.g., CSCS)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
