The Role: Welder / Bench Fabricator

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated

Welder/Bench Fabricator

to join our busy workshop team. This hands-on role involves fabricating components for our custom-built steel boats. You'll be working in a dynamic environment that may require accessing boats via steps, ladders, and platforms.

Training will be provided

for the right candidate to help develop specialist skills within the marine sector.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

MIG welding and metal fabrication Operating CNC plasma tables and press brakes Manufacturing bespoke metal components Working with mild steel (3-10mm thickness) Meeting daily production targets Applying engineering procedures and processes Maintaining high standards of accuracy and finish

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Previous experience in a sheet metal or fabrication environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and practical Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow Basic welding knowledge with a desire to develop further

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday:

08:00 - 16:30

Friday:

08:00 - 13:30

Total:

37.5 hours per week
