Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for welding and fabrication. As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding and assembling various metal components, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to safety regulations.

Duties

Build Anti Vandal Units & Modular frames. Fabricate components according to engineering specifications and technical drawings. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to prepare materials for welding. Be able to read Drawings. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols. Collaborate with a small team to improve processes and enhance product quality. Be able to work on your own initiative.

Qualifications

Proven experience in MIG welding; additional skills in stick welding are advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication process. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
