Responsibilities:
We're looking for a reliable and hard-working MIG Welder to join our busy workshop for a 3-month temporary position. The role is part-time, working
10am to 4pm, Monday to Wednesday,
with the potential for a full-time role for suitable candidates.
MIG welding products from clean 2mm / 5mm laser-cut parts. These components need to be assembled and welded to meet our high-quality standards.
One of your main focuses will be on improving the process of production welding to make it more efficient. You'll analyse and optimise welding procedures, ensuring that the welding tasks are carried out smoothly.
Your attention to detail will be critical in conducting thorough inspections of the parts to be welded, ensuring they meet the required specifications. By working closely with the team, you'll contribute to a collaborative and positive work environment that promotes productivity and excellence.
We are looking for an MIG Welding person with motivation to work on the process of / and welding/assembling products.
Your passion for continuous improvement will drive you to explore innovative ways to enhance the production welding process, making it more streamlined and effective. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards will be second nature to you.
Mig welding mostly laser cut sheet metal parts in small batches
Making Jigs to make assembly and welding easier
Taking ownership of all welded parts process's
Independently manage the fabrication department, including the use of a Robot MIG welder to improve productivity.
Shape sheet metal with precision using powered rolling machines.
Ensure the highest standards of quality by conducting thorough grinding and finishing tasks.
Collaborate effectively with the team and prioritise safety.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience of MIG Welding process
Knowledge of Robot MIG welders is a plus, but not required. Full training Given
Passion for fabricating and improving processes.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Strong team player with a responsible approach.
