Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled
MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator
with experience in oil and gas pipework. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling high-quality pipework and associated structures in line with industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals, primarily stainless steel and carbon steel.
Fabricate and assemble pipework, supports, and structural components to drawings and specifications.
Carry out welding to coded standards (desirable if already coded; testing can be arranged).
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and welding symbols accurately.
Operate workshop machinery including saws, grinders, cutting equipment, and bending tools.
Ensure all work meets strict quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Work independently and as part of a fabrication team to meet production targets.
Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all HSE guidelines.
Requirements
Proven experience as a MIG/TIG welder and fabricator, ideally within the oil & gas industry.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and pipework diagrams.
Competency in fabricating from scratch.
Strong understanding of welding procedures and standards.
Coded welding qualifications are advantageous but not essential (company can assist with coding).
Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively on day shift.
